Job Description
Flukes main goal is to satisfy our customers needs by providing fully proven solutions. We are looking for a new member of the Verification and Validation team to deliver our newest products with the highest quality.
The Validation and Verification Engineer will be analyzing product requirements crafting test plans designing test setups developing unified test environment and creating test automation software to verify Flukes products ensuring they are fully functional and exceed our customers expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Develop automated verification systems for each assigned product to ensure complete and robust test coverage.
- Work with more senior engineers on creation of the product requirements ensuring that they meet the key validation criteria of complete objective and testable.
- Build and create test plans/cases for blackbox testing according to product requirements and project schedule with toward quality and delivery.
- Be an integrated project member in the embedded software teams
Your team
You will be part of a global engineering organization with team members in Europe North America and Asia. You will be working with other engineers: HW Engineers SW Engineers ME Engineers V&V Engineers.

Experience
- BS in Electronics Engineering or Computer Science with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
- Skills of ideal candidate should cover two aspects: Hardware and Software however if strong in single area still can be valuable contributor to V&V team:
- Hardware related skills:
understanding products functions and parameters from electronics point of view
experience with hardware development process
understanding of electronic hardware principles circuits troubleshooting
usage of equipment for DC LF and RF measurements.
- Software related skills:
experience with Agile Software development
programming skills for test automation handson experience with Python or Squish
understanding products features from users perspective.
Knowledge of verification and validation process test strategies requirements management
- Ability to learn new programming concepts languages and best practices.
- Ability to work with ambiguity and use good judgement and decisionmaking skills
- Alternatively experience from production testing of electronics knowledge of productions test systems experience in test sequence creation with LabView or TestStand.
