Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Safety is always #1.
- Stocks and issues materials or supplies.
- Able to handle pressure smoothly and productively.
- Handle unexpected challenges with a positive outlook.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Less than 2 yearsgeneral knowledge of warehouse/stockroom environment.
- Must have basic math skills read pick lists data printouts bills of material and other documents. Accuracy of data entry accounts and record keeping is essential.
- General knowledge of warehouse/stockroom procedures.
- Must be computer literate. Intermediate a plus.
- Must be detailoriented with good mathematical abilities.
- Must be able to bend and lift 40 lbs.
- Must have ability to work as a team member to achieve the companys quality and production standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required to work with production employees and managers.
- Strong organization skills selfstarter with initiative and ability to work with minimal
- Must be flexible with overtime and weekends as necessary.
- Attendance and punctuality at work are essential functions of this position.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Preferred Skills:
- Previous Warehouse Experience in a Military Commercialor Medicalenvironment.
- Operate Manualand Electric Power Pallet
- Power tool knowledge (Rotating saw hand saw hammer drills).
Working Conditions:
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to safely move about in a variety of work environments from office to manufacturing floor and other.
- Ability to remain on a manufacturing shop floor for extended periods while meeting specified safety requirements (i.e. vision protection foot/toe protection and others as appropriate).
- Detail oriented goodvision is necessary to make decisions on the acceptability of product.
