The Assistant Store Manager (ASM) plays a vital role in ensuring smooth store operations team development and exceptional customer experiences. As a key leader the ASM is responsible for guiding and mentoring OnDuty Managers (ODMs) Drivers and Kitchen staff while executing daily objectives that align with Tiffs Treats operational and service goals.

The Assistant Store Manager (ASM) plays a vital role in ensuring smooth store operations team development and exceptional customer experiences. As a key leader the ASM is responsible for guiding and mentoring OnDuty Managers (ODMs) Drivers and Kitchen staff while executing daily objectives that align with Tiffs Treats operational and service goals.
ASMs collaborate closely with Store Managers (SMs) District Managers (DMs) and other leaders across the district to foster teamwork optimize store performance and uphold company values. In this role you will help create a positive highenergy work environment while ensuring every guest enjoys a memorable warm cookie moment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Development: Mentor and develop a team of OnDuty Managers Drivers and Kitchen staff.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee store operations including managing staff assisting customers and maintaining a clean and organized store.
- Customer Service: Ensure every customer interaction is positive and memorable.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Store Managers District Managers and other ASMs to align on goals and strategies.
- Inventory Management: Proactively stock supplies and manage inventory to ensure smooth operations.
- Efficiency & Accuracy: Execute systems and procedures with integrity and completeness.
Daily Duties:
- Manage a team of 510 employees.
- Resolve customer complaints with a positive attitude.
- Provide onthejob training for new employees.
- Supervise the preparation sales and service of our products.
- Route deliveries and optimize delivery business.
- Complete closing procedures and daily paperwork.
- Maintain a positive work environment.
Qualifications:
- 13 years of leadership experience in foodservice hospitality or retail.
- Proven track record of driving sales and excellence.
- Strong customer service skills in a fastpaced environment.
- Flexible availability and outstanding punctuality.
- Ability to stay composed during highvolume periods.
- Selfmotivated with a positive cando attitude.
- Excellent communication and problemsolving skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and handle complex situations.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift carry and grasp up to 50 lbs
- Constant standing and/or walking with limited breaks often in and out of extreme heat cold rain etc.
- Must be able to ascend/descend stairs while carrying up to 50 lbs
- Occasional stooping lifting pushing pulling kneeling etc. up to 50 lbs
- Ability to occasionally bend twist and reach items up to 50 lbs
- Repetitive motion of the wrists/arms/hands.
- Must be able to manage multiple tasks effectively and safely as lone worker in the store
- Ability to execute all required cleaning procedures for a commercial kitchen environment
- Ability to take visual and audible cues and willing to follow written & verbal instructions in a loud & busy kitchen environment
- Ability to clearly hear and speak over the telephone
- Performing computer work in a stationary position for extended periods
