Description

MiniCircuits designs manufactures and distributes integrated circuits modules and subsystems for highperformance radio frequency (RF) and microwave design sales and manufacturing locations in over 30 countries MiniCircuits products are used in a range of wired and wireless communications applications. Our products are also used in detection measurement and imaging applications including military communication guidance and electronic countermeasure systems commercial scientific military land sea and aircraft; automotive systems medical systems and industrial test equipment.

MiniCircuits sells its products to over 20000 customers globally through our direct sales force applications engineering staff sales representatives as well as through our extensive website.

Position Summary:

The Kit Room Operator I is responsible for supporting Warehouse operations including but not limited to the coordinating picking and shipping of products in and out of the warehouse.

Note: Individuals are crossed trained in all aspects of the warehouse responsibilities but may not be performing all of duties/responsibilities on a daily basis.

Salary Range:$17.50 $20.00 per hour
Job Function:

All job functions must be in accordance with the department procedures and any other document necessary.

Members are trained accordingly to function within the department.

  • Utilize the warehouse ERP system as needed.
  • Prep orders as instructed on the license plate/pick list.
  • Communicate with the Traffic department for shipment arrangements.
  • Pack & Ship orders according to department procedures.
  • Unload and sort merchandise from the delivery vehicles.
  • Verify merchandise received and communicate any discrepancies.
  • Receive and putaway products onto the shelves.
  • Pick pack and deliver to the shipping department orders requested by interoffice personnel.
  • Assist in physical inventory and cycle counts.
  • Ensure proper storage and handling of chemicals.
  • Handle all ESD products while wearing a company provided lab coat and foot strap/wrist straps.
  • Any other activity as assigned by the Team Leader/Supervisor.
  • Notify team leader supervisor or manager of any discrepancies for resolution.

The duties responsibilities and expectations described above are not a comprehensive list and additional tasks may be assigned to the member within the scope of the position.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma GED or international equivalent
  • Level of education experience and/or training including specific physical requirements:
  • Warehouse experience is not required but is a plus
  • Prior experience in system ERP is preferred.
  • Ability to read write and orally communicate in English is a must.
  • Basic computer skills required including use of MS Office (Word PPT Excel)
  • Must be familiar with basic office equipment including telephone third party carrier software copier and personal computer (PC).
  • Must be able to utilize a forklift and pallet jacks.
  • Time management and prioritization are critical.
  • Demonstrate an interest/creativity for increased productivity and warehouse space/system utilization.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here represent those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. The role frequently involves standing walking for extended periods sitting and using hands to operate a computer keyboard and other equipment. The employee may occasionally be required to reach with hands and arms. This position may involve occasionally lifting and/or moving items weighing up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation. Specific vision abilities may include close vision and the ability to adjust focus as required for computer use or taskspecific inspections. The work environment may include exposure to varying temperatures; reasonable accommodations will be provided where appropriate.

Additional Requirements/Skills:

  • Weekday and Saturday overtime may be required based on business need.
