Based at our Geelong Yarra Street Campus we are looking for a Business Development Manager to join the VFA Learning team.
A Business Development Managers Day can involve:
Enrolments
Enrolment administration and management duties (to meet daily weekly and monthly deadlines):Manage daytoday function to ensure daily targets are metGenerating leads through various methodsAssessing client needs and the companys ability to meet those needsUsing customer relationship management (CRM) software to manage all interactionsPreparing status reports on goalsFollowing up with new leads and referrals generatedComplete all required documents and inductions for new commencementsEnsure accuracy of all reports submitted for compliance and reportingBusiness Development
Implement the necessary actions to maintain existing and develop new business opportunities/ideas as directed by the General Manager:Develop implement and manage the necessary actions to successfully grow the business.Upselling courses and crossselling courses for potential and current students and organisations.Where relevant consult with the leadership team/CEO to assess the viability of new education opportunities to meet new demandsKeeping up with the latest industry developments including market positioning of competitorsComplete industry engagement documentsIdentifying opportunities in target markets for your organisations products and servicesDeveloping and nurturing relationships with key customer accountsMarketing/PR activity:
Organise seminars or expos to promote the VFA LearningCoordinate programs and events to network with previous students and the wider industryParticipate in both internal and external marketing eventsCreate openings to make presentations to organisations career teachers schools gyms and sporting clubsTraining
Identify and deliver potential professional development opportunitiesIdentify areas of potential professional development for stakeholdersWork with the enrolment team/Training Manager to organise and market events within our scopeAssist with the training and delivery of courses within your scope of qualificationsOther Responsibilities
Implement / achieve the areas of the Budget that the Business Development Manager is responsible for:Assist in the adherence to annual budgets to attain/achieve budgeted course sales turnover and net profit marginsBuild a professional relationship with each staff memberAttend staff meetingsContribute input to additional VFA Learning projects as requiredAssist VFA Learning with other tasks as directed by your manager from timetotimeBeing a part of the VFA team you will be provided with a wide range of benefits including:Being a part of the Real Futures team you will be provided with a wide range of benefits including:

To be considered you must
- Have full working rights in Australia
- Have a current drivers licence and a comprehensively insured vehicle
- Complete an Australia History Criminal Check
- Have a current Working with Children Check or willing to obtain a Working with Children Check before employment
- Ability to work Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm
