Project Manager

Position Summary
We are looking for a dynamic project manager to work with the KDM Retail Team. Our work is in the retail space grocery convenient stores restaurants and other retail stores. The work includes custom millwork displays fixtures and decor items. As a Project manager you will drive all aspects of production related items. Our project managers are involved from the very beginning conceptual ideas pricing engineering production shipping installation and billing.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
This position is primarily yet not exclusively responsible for the following:
- Act as project lead / subject matter expert as you will be the main point of contact for internal and external project coordination.
- Develop project plans and timelines based on client needs.
- Ensure project is on time and on budget.
- Coordinate internal resources needed with 3rd party vendors to execute a seamless workflow.
- Communicate project status to clients account managers and during weekly production meetings.
- Manage daytoday progress to minimize risk and be able to solve potential problems.
- Coordinate local regional or national shipping requirements specific to each project.
- Comparing projects estimate vs. actual.
- Billing / Invoicing
- Client specific reports / inventory.

High School Diploma (Bachelor Degree Preferred) and 2 years experience in a related field required.
Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office Excel spreadsheets adobe/ blubeam. Strong communication interpersonal time management and organizational skills. (Ability to read mechanical / engineered drawings would be an idea candidate)
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions short correspondence and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information to one on one and small group situations to customers clients managers and other employees in the organization.
Ability to count add subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers common fractions and decimals.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved instructions from both written and oral communications. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standard situations.
