Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with daily living activities such as bathing dressing and grooming
• Assist with meal preparation and cooking according to dietary needs and restrictions
• Help with light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and organizing the clients living space
• Monitor and record vital signs medication reminders and medical documentation as required
• Assist clients with mobility and transfers using proper techniques and equipment
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
• Follow care plans and instructions provided by healthcare professionals
• Provide errands or transportation as needed

Skills:

• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
• Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with clients
• Ability to adapt to the specific needs of each client including those with special needs or medical conditions

Requirements:

• HHA Certificate or CNA license (preferred)
• One year of home care experience (required)
• Drivers License (required)
• Personal vehicle (required)
• CPR (required)
• Ability to speak read and write in English (required)
