Position Overview:
PKFMark III Inc. is searching for an individual with 13 years of experience in construction safety ideally who is familiar with heavy construction including: highways water plants wastewater plants and industrial facilities. The ideal candidate should have a good working knowledge of OSHA rules and regulations; should be able to write and/or modify safety procedures and protocols; perform safety inspections; provide safety options in owner meetings; and participate in safety committee discussions and insurance reviews.
Requirements:
- 13 years in construction safety management.
- Proficiency in knowing and understanding OSHA regulations.
- Ability to skillfully write and suggest modifications to PKF safety procedures.
- Perform field safety inspections.
- Assist in safety solutions onsite.
- Local projects (within 15 hours) from Trenton NJ.
- Ability to use Word/Excel.
- Ability to read construction plans/specs a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate or bachelors degree in an accredited safety program engineering program or similar.
- Ability to teach internal safety classes a plus.
- Ability to work with multiple teams on safetyrelated issues.
- Assist project teams with being proactive on safety items onsite.
- Positive attitude with crews when addressing safety concerns.
- Comfortable addressing safety issues immediately.
- Comfortable talking to owner representatives about safety issues.
