AP Precision Metals Inc. is looking for a Driver to join our team. This is an entrylevel position with growth opportunity.
We are looking for a driver for daily delivery of finished goods to customers. Driver must have a clean driving record English speaking and excellent communications skills. The driver/delivery person will interface with our customers regularly and in many ways be the face of our company. We want
Job Title: Driver/Delivery Person
We are a metal manufacturing shop seeking a reliable and personable Driver/Delivery Person to join our team. This role is key to our operations and customer relationships as you will often be the face of our company during deliveries.
Responsibilities:
Making daily deliveries with our 25 Stake Bed Truck (All shipments are sameday within San Diego County)
Safely transport products to customers and vendors in a timely manner
Pack load and unload parts with accuracy and attention to detail
Count and verify deliveries and shipments
Maintain a clean driving record and follow all traffic and safety regulations
Communicate effectively with customers and team members
Represent our company with professionalism and a positive attitude
Requirements:
Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
Strong English speaking and communication skills
Personable and customerfocused demeanor
Detailoriented and organized
Previous delivery or driving experience preferred
Additional Duties on occasion
Interfacing with management
Keeping the shipping area and truck clean and in good maintenance
*Hiring for 1st shift 6:30AM3:00PM with some overtime for shipments that go late
