Make your impact within a rapidly growing Fintech Company
As part of BILLs Virtual Card Operations team this position is responsible for helping us identify implement and recommend virtual card enhancement opportunities regarding people process technology and product.
This team is responsible for leveraging all available resources and making every possible effort to successfully deliver virtual card payments. We are seeking a subject matter expert for our team of card processors who understands team goals reporting metrics and can handle the most challenging payments. This role involves researching vendors available payment options successfully delivering previously unsuccessful payments and using those insights to recommend improvements to future payment delivery efficiency and success rates through operational changes.
The ideal candidate must be passionate about working in a dynamic team environment while continuously innovating to improve processes. By sharing their learnings and making updates to our instructions database or recommendations to existing workflows we aim to continuously improve our operations drive incremental revenue and increase customer satisfaction.
This looks like:
- Resolve complex vendor issues by reviewing analyzing and resolving vendor processing challenges while identifying systemic issues and escalating as needed.
- Optimize payment success and revenue by identifying vendor bottlenecks and recommending improvements to increase success rates and revenue.
- Maintain vendor knowledge base by updating and enhancing vendor documentation to ensure agents have accurate payment processing guidelines.
- Recommend and implement best practices by advising on vendor preferences and driving process improvements within Supplier Network and Virtual Card operations.
- Collaborate crossfunctionally working with Engineering Product and Business Enablement to refine workflows and improve vendor payment experiences.
Wed love to chat if you have:
- 12 years of experience with payment processing or payment operations or a Bachelors Degree with the equivalent combination of four years of education training and workrelated experience.
- Demonstrates experience using multichannel telephony technologies such as chat web portal and phone.
- Passionate about research and investigation of payment exceptions; tenacious in uncovering the root cause of any issue.
- Demonstrated leadership skills to effectively develop lead inspire and motivate a highperforming team.
- Experience with the GSuite or Excel functions.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.

The estimated hourly range for this role is noted below for our office location in San Jose CA. Our ranges for each role and job level are based on a variety of factors including candidate experience expertise and geographic location and may vary from the amounts listed above. The role is also eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes: medical dental vision life and disability insurance 401(k) retirement plan flexible spending & health savings account paid holidays paid time off and other company benefits.
