Job Description
Personnel Source is currently hiring a Drafting / Design Supervisor for a local and prominent custom fixture and ornamental oneofakind craftsmanship shop located in Portland OR. The Drafting Supervisor supports the Operations Manager and the position requires a professional who can work independently with minimal supervision demonstrates reliability and proactiveness as well as good communication organization and computer skills maintains professionalism in the face of deadlines and can handle confidential information with discretion and trustworthiness.
Specific duties will include (but not limited to):
- Assist with planning and analysis of conceptual design issues and preconstruction activities.
- Review understand and interpret design details from ID drawings design drawings and/or concept sketches and ensure they are accurately reflected on the proposal drawings to the client as well as the production shop drawings.
- Plan schedule and delegate drafting needs and schedules to supporting drafting staff.
- Produce AutoCAD drawing sets for submittal to client for approval.
- Review interpret and revise redline AutoCAD drawing sets received back from the client.
Pay Rate:
$80K to $90K depending on experience
