Reporting to the West Trek Division Lead the Jr. Sales & Activities Coordinator will be responsible for assisting the promotion and sales initiatives and procedures of the DCT/West Trek Scheduled Tour Division. This role focuses on providing excellent customer service and helping maintain and grow assigned accounts as well as helping run activities and events in collaboration with the West Trek Division Lead and Activities Supervisor. These initiatives will affect the direction and goals of the business.

What Youll Be Doing:
(In consultation with the West Trek Division Lead and Activities Supervisor)
- Managing promoting and selling tours and activities at assigned accounts
- Executing inschool and industry related presentations for a variety of groups
- Leading assigned activities and events such as walking tours after school activities sporting events BBQs and other special events
- Developing and implementing special events activities and promotions (including popup activities)
- Completing and registering client bookings through the reservation system (including group bookings)
- Helping motivate and lead the practicum team
Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Researching competitors products and services
- Identifying and soliciting new clients and/or target groups
- Being responsible for guests safety handling payments and ultimately delivering the highest quality of customer service
Qualifications & Skills:
- Outgoing and ability to speak in front of a crowd
- Professional attitude and appearance
- Excellent organization time management and communication skills
- Ability to solve problems and work under pressure
- Commitment to continuous selfimprovement
- A passion for Canada and our wondrous landscape
- Ability to speak a second language (especially Korean and/or Japanese) is an asset please indicate on resume
- High School Diploma is required
- Degree or Diploma in tourism business or sales and marketing is an asset but not necessary
Additional Notes:
Work hours may vary by week and season. Sometimes long days evenings and weekends are expected. We appreciate candidates are will be able to manage a flexible schedule.
