Developer Clinical Interface

Millennium Physician Group

Full Time (MondayFriday)

LOCATION


The Clinical Interface Developer is responsible for ensuring that healthcare technology effectively supports clinical operations and enhances patient care. This position is vital in todays increasingly digital healthcare landscape where seamless data exchange and interoperability are essential for delivering highquality care.


We are looking for a Clinical Interface Developer who will act as a bridge between clinical systems and healthcare professionals ensuring that technology aligns with the practical needs of patient care. This role will involve facilitating and overseeing data migrations for clinical data related to acquisitions and integrations. The Developer will coordinate with technical clinical and data teams to ensure smooth interfaces with the electronic medical record (EMR) system.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Engage collaboratively with information technology information systems clinical teams and vendors to design and develop innovative system interfaces for clinical applications that enhance patient care.
  • Ensure seamless integration of clinical data during migrations transforming workflows and facilitating robust system integrations.
  • Take the lead in overseeing the implementation of clinical interfaces guaranteeing compatibility with existing systems to optimize operational efficiency.
  • Conduct comprehensive interface testing to verify data accuracy system performance and interoperability ensuring highquality outcomes across platforms.
  • Proactively monitor interface performance and swiftly address any technical issues or errors maintaining a smooth operational flow.
  • Provide dedicated support to resolve any concerns from providers or departments regarding interfaces fostering a culture of collaboration and responsiveness.
  • Implement stateoftheart interfaces that adhere to healthcare standards such as HL7 FHIR ICD10 and SNOMED ensuring excellence in data management.
  • Collaborate closely with Health Information Exchanges (HIEs) to facilitate secure and accurate data exchange between organizations promoting connected healthcare.
  • Serve as a vital liaison between IT teams and clinical staff to ensure interfaces are seamlessly aligned with clinical workflows enhancing overall effectiveness.
  • Empower endusers through training on system functionalities and optimizations for workflow efficiency enabling them to maximize the benefits of new technologies.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation** for interface configurations changes and troubleshooting procedures creating a reliable resource for future reference.
  • Commit to ensuring compliance with regulatory standards such as HIPAA safeguarding data security and privacy while upholding the highest ethical standards in healthcare.
  • Demonstrate excellent guest service to internal team members and patients.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in health information technology Computer Science Information Systems or a related field.
  • Certifications (such as HL7 or Epic certifications) are a plus.
  • 2 years of experience in interface development and management part in the healthcare industry field is a plus.
