Job Description

In an exciting and challenging fastpaced environment our Electronics Technicians installs electronics/electrical systems and ensures proper maintenance and repair of electronic/electrical equipment and instrumentation.

What Youll Do:

  • Installs electronic/electrical systems.
  • Ensures proper maintenance and repair of electronic/electrical equipment and instrumentation.
  • Calibrates all electronic/electrical equipment.
  • Knowledge of functionality and troubleshooting of Load Cells
  • Understand PLC controls and programing
  • Utilize the CMMS System to develop PM schedules and Job Plans
  • Must be able to read and understand drawings and schematics
  • Abides by all policies and procedures established by the Company including plant safety regulations and work rules.
  • Must have ability and desire to work with others.
  • Meets attendance requirements.
  • Performs other duties as deemed necessary.

What Youll Need:

  • Commitment to safety
  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent G.E.D. required.
  • Postsecondary education degree in electronics or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum of two 2)years experience in repair and maintenance ofelectrical and electronic systems is preferred..
  • Previous maintenance experience in a steelmaking environment preferred.
  • Ability to pass written electronicsexam.
  • Strong work ethic
  • Willingness to learn
