Job Description
Mainframe testing JDWe are looking for a detailoriented and experienced Mainframe Tester to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mainframe technologies and be responsible for validating applications batch jobs and data processing workflows on IBM mainframe systems. You will work closely with developers business analysts and QA leads to ensure highquality Responsibilities:Analyze requirements and develop mainframe test cases and test manual and automated testing of mainframe batch jobs JCL COBOL programs DB2 VSAM files and CICS tools such as SPUFI QMF FileAID TSO/ISPF and Changeman/ regression system integration and user acceptance log and track bugs using test management tools (e.g. JIRA ALM Rational Quality Manager).Collaborate with development and business teams to troubleshoot and resolve in test planning effort estimation and reporting.
