Job Summary:

This position offers the opportunity to gain experience within a dynamic warehouse environment as a Material Handler (Driver). Material Handlers play a crucial role in the efficient flow of goods within the warehouse ensuring safe timely and accurate movement of materials. Through consistent performance and successful completion of our Material Handler Certification program individuals can advance through the tiers as they master advanced power industrial vehicles (PIV).

• This will be an onsite role in our location.

Compensation Information:

• Hourly range of $xx$xx plus an annual incentive plan.

What youll do: Fulfilment Center Associates can progress through three distinct tiers starting with certification and ground level material handling. The employees job title & compensation will reflect the highest level of competency successfully achieved. For example an employee who has successfully completed the Reach Truck and is learning Turret Truck would be titled AssociateMaterial Handler I.

• In addition to the job specific essential functions listed below every FC Associate must be able to:
• Work in a fastpaced environment stand/walk up to 10 hours a day and push/pull/lift/carry up to 50 lbs. as described in the Mental and Physical Demands section.
• Have consistent and regular attendance and adherence to schedule.
• Must be able to work mandatory overtime when assigned.
• Perform their daily work activities in a safe manner while following established location safety guidelines and OSHA regulations.
• May be required to perform nonmaterial operation duties within the AssociateFulfillment Center role as needed by the business.
• Transport materials between designated locations within the warehouse including receiving storage production areas and shipping docks.
• Load and unload materials from trucks and other vehicles using appropriate equipment.
• Stack unstack and move pallets boxes and other materials.
• Maintain accurate inventory records of materials received stored and shipped.
• Conduct preoperational inspections of PIVs to ensure they are in safe working condition.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors immediately.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Level II PIVs: Driver can work at heights up to thirty 30 feet. Successful completion of Material Handling Certification including written exam and demonstration of safe operating techniques.
• Order Picker: Operation of PIV with forks designed to reach high racks.
• Turret Truck: Operation of a PIV with forks designed for very narrow aisles (VNA)

What we expect you to bring to the table:

• Can work at heights up to thirty 30 feet.
• Prior experience in a warehouse or fulfillment center environment strongly preferred.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be able to work in a fastpaced environment.

Education and/or Certifications Required:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Successful completion of Material Handling Certification including written exam and demonstration of safe operating techniques.

Physical and Mental Demands:

• While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand walk sit and use hands to finger handle or touch. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to fifty 50 pounds.
