Term/Status: Permanent Fulltime 70 hours biweekly)
Classification/Salary: Communications Officer R24 / Position starts at $76071 annually

About the opportunity:

As a Communications and Engagement Specialist at CLBC you will lead and advance proactive transparent and accessible communication and engagement strategies. Working closely with Communication Specialists and the Engagement Lead you will proactively develop materials to share complex information in plain language and coordinate the creation and promotion of impactful stories both internally and externally highlighting our work our partnerships and the voices of people and families served by CLBC. You will develop and implement CLBCs digital media strategy working collaboratively with staff at all levels throughout the organization to identify and create stories to share CLBC information using plain language visuals infographics video and audio content. In addition you will work with volunteer family members service providers and selfadvocates on CLBC Community Councils arranging and attending events interviewing people capturing photos videos and stories and facilitating meaningful interactions.
