Job Description
- Manage all engineering requirements on designated vessels
- Manage internal workshops and contractors performance on designated vessels
- Ensure all day to day and planned maintenance up to date
- Manage designated vessel drydocking
- Identify and ensure critical spares in stock
- Identify and manage approved upgrades and cost saving initiatives
- Compile and adhere to vessel budgets
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- National Higher Diploma (T4 Mech Eng. or similar
- 1015 years post qualification applicable ship repair experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be physically fit of sober habits and punctual
- Must be a team player with a cando attitude
- Viking Fishing will require contactable references
