Job Description
Endoscopic Tech GI Lab Full Time Days

Work location:Texas Health Rockwall 3150 Horizon Rd Rockwall TX 75032
Work hours: Full Time 40 hours weekly MondayFriday 7:00am 3:30pm

Heres What You Need
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required
- 1 year of GI clinical or hospital experience preferred
- CNA Certified Nurse Aide preferred upon hire or
- MA Medical Assistant preferred upon hire or
- EMT Emergency Medical Technician preferred upon hire and
- BCLS Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care required and maintained quarterly
- Detailed oriented and good organizational skills
What You Will Do
- Assists physicians and nurses with GI procedures
Sets up endoscopic equipment including specific individualized equipment after assessment of patient.
- Professional Accountability
Communicates with the manager or educator for unit if any delay or problems exist.
- Teamwork/Partnership
Demonstrates teamwork and partnership in delivering care in the GI Lab.
- Infection Control / Safety Measures
Follows all safety measures/infection control measures throughout duties assigned.
Operates automatic scope washers and understands the principles of high level disinfection.
- Age Specific/Developmental Guidelines
Performs duties using developmental considerations for age specific to GI Lab.
