Project: WCB BPR Implementation
WCB is undertaking an initiative called its Business Process Reengineering (BPR) program. BPR project will require a resource for .Net analysis design development and testing/remediation over the next 2 years. WCB has undertaken a very large project to replace its 20yearold legacy Claims Information System and replace it with a modern application. This application will have many integration points with existing technologies that will require .Net interfaces.
DaytoDay tasks:
Work with Project Management to meet objectives of BIS project.
Guide a module Development Team.
Guide design meetings and reviews.
Work with ITS to determine what shared services are appropriate for the Medical Portal.
Create/Architect shared services that may be utilized by other agencies when appropriate.
Create/Architect the technical environment that will be used to implement the portal.
Lead code reviews.
Mandatory Qualifications:
Software Architect: Makes highlevel design choices and dictates technical standards including software coding standards tools and platforms. Designs multileveled architecture or component interactions of a largescale software system.
Expert: 84 months: Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field.
Requested Qualifications:
84 months experience leading a development team of five or more developers.
84 months experience creating and editing system documentation and technical specifications.
60 months experience writing C# code in Visual Studio.
60 months experience using IIS Web Server.
36 months experience using Team Foundation Server.
60 months experience in design & deployment of complex SQL objects (including Stored Procedures) and relational databases design.
48 months experience writing and designing applications using Biztalk.
36 months experience writing and executing unit tests.
24 months experience in developing user interfaces using a ModelView Controller (MVC) pattern.
