Job Description
The National Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation (NACCHO) is the national peak body for 146 Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services (ACCHSs). Together we deliver communityled healthcare to over half of all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples across Australia.
Were looking for a passionate and experienced Program Manager to lead the design delivery and implementation of NACCHOs suicide prevention program Culture Care Connect and other key mental health initiatives.
In this role you will:
- Lead the design and rollout of communitydriven mental health and suicide prevention programs
- Guide and support project officers and oversee grants management
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with ACCHOs government and other stakeholders
- Provide secretariat support and highlevel advice on complex and sensitive issues
- Develop highquality communication materials reports and briefings
You bring:
- Demonstrated experience in program management and stakeholder engagement
- Understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and community health
- Strong leadership communication and strategic thinking skills
- A tertiary qualification in a relevant field (desirable)
