Inviting applications for the role of Manager Data Analyst
As Business Data Analyst you will be responsible to carry out Root Cause Analysis using SAS/SQL/Python Business Rule Development Business/Data Process Analysis and Support
Responsibilities
Responsible for various data activities which include data analysis data modeling data quality data lineage and familiarity with database architecture / design engineering
Assist in root cause analysis
Implement data quality initiatives identifying critical data elements and defining functional business rules for each applicable dimension (completeness conformity validity).
Lead impact analysis process to identify any upstream/downstream data implications
Ability to Identify triage escalate and remediate data issues
Experience with Regulatory Reporting
Conduct sessions with IT teams middle and front office staff to accurately capture data requirements
Created User stories business & data flow diagrams Activity/State diagrams and Swim Lane diagrams
Contribute to work flow or process change and redesign and to form a basic understanding of the specific product or process
Aggregation and documentation of critical data elements including flows for each system tied to an MRIA item or work item within IF (or broader group if shared)
Help with creation/assessment of BRDs or any item that may need requirements identified in the coming months
Accountable for regular reporting on data process administration as owner
Appropriately assess risk by driving compliance with applicable laws rules and regulations adhering to Policy applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior conduct and business practices and escalating managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum Qualifications:
Ability to think strategically creatively problem solve and the ability to engage resources outside of their direct control to achieve objectives
Good SAS/ SQL/ Python
Exposure to Collibra or any other data management tool
Data Lineage & Taxonomy exposure or concept knowledge
Business and/or Tech specifications experience
Documentation Skills
Experience
Relevant Exp preferably in financial services organizations
Degree in STEM / finance
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
Experience in segmentation modeling and optimization
Power BI SAS SQL Excel Pivot or other Data Governance or Analytical tool experience is preferred
