Cloud and Developer Experience Product Director

As a Product Director in Engineers Platform & Integrated Experience (EPiX) team you lead innovation through the development of products and features that delight customers. As a leader on the team you leverage your advanced capabilities to challenge traditional approaches remove barriers to success and foster a culture of continuous innovation that helps inspire crossfunctional teams create groundbreaking solutions that address customer needs.

Job responsibilities

• Oversees the product roadmap vision development risk management and business growth targets
• Leads the entire product life cycle through planning and future development by continuously adapting developing new products and methodologies managing risks and achieving business targets like cost features reusability and reliability to support growth
• Coaches and mentors the product team on best practices such as solution generation market research storyboarding mindmapping prototyping methods product adoption strategies and product delivery enabling them to effectively deliver on objectives
• Owns product performance and is accountable for investing in enhancements to achieve business objectives
• Leverages expertise in cloud technologies particularly AWS to provide seamless integration and leverage AWS services to enhance the developer experience
• Monitors market trends conducts competitive analysis and identifies opportunities for product differentiation
• Focuses on creating an exceptional developer experience by understanding the needs and pain points of developers. Continuously improve the platforms usability documentation and support resources
• Fosters a developer community and engage with developers to gather feedback address concerns and drive adoption
• Defines and tracks key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of the platform
• Uses data and analytics to gain insights into user behavior identify areas for improvement and make datadriven decisions to optimize the platforms performance and user satisfaction
• Collaborates with crossfunctional teams including User Experience (UX) Architecture & Engineering to gather requirements understand customer needs and ensure successful of the platform

Required qualifications capabilities and skills

• 8 years of experience or equivalent expertise delivering products projects or technology applications
• Extensive knowledge of the product development life cycle technical design and data analytics
• Proven ability to influence the adoption of key product life cycle activities including discovery ideation strategic development requirements definition and value management
• Experience driving change within organizations and managing stakeholders across multiple functions
• Proven background in software development preferably in DevOps practices and methodologies
• Experience with cloud technologies particularly AWS and the ability to leverage cloud services to enhance product capabilities
• Familiarity with CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment) concepts and tools
• Experience working in an Agile development environment
• Technical acumen and the ability to understand complex technical concepts and translate them into userfriendly product features
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to effectively work with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
• Analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to make datadriven decisions and prioritize features based on customer needs and business goals

Preferred qualifications capabilities and skills

• Recognized thought leader within a related field
• Advanced knowledge and experience with specific DevOps tools and technologies such as Jenkins GitLab CircleCI or AWS CodePipeline
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes
• Familiarity with infrastructureascode tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation
