Job Overview
The Transport Supervisor position at PIS Samastipur is an exciting fulltime opportunity for freshers to manage and oversee the transportation operations. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient and safe transport of students. As a Transport Supervisor you will be based in Samastipur and will engage in transport coordination to support school activities. The position is an entrylevel role with opportunities for growth within the Podar network.
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience in managing transportation activities efficiently and ensuring timely delivery of services is advantageous.
- Familiarity with fleet management processes and practices to ensure all vehicles are maintained and operated safely.
- Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with school administration and transport staff for seamless operations.
- Must have skills: transport supervisor transport incharge fleet management (Mandatory skill).
- Required skills: understanding of transport logistics bus management and transportation logistics.
- Ability to handle emergencies and resolve issues swiftly to maintain a secure transport environment.
- Attention to detail to monitor and report on transportation activities and fleet status accurately.
- Ability to work within a team and adapt to the fastpaced educational environment of Podar Education Network.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee the daily transport operations ensuring safety and reliability of transport services.
- Monitor and manage the school bus schedules routes and daily operations to ensure punctuality.
- Maintain communication with drivers and school officials to coordinate efficient transport services.
- Ensure the maintenance and proper functioning of all transport vehicles and conduct regular inspections.
- Address any transportationrelated queries or issues from parents or school staff promptly.
- Track and report transportation expenses and assist in budget management for transport operations.
- Implement safety standards and practices across all transportation activities to ensure student safety.
- Coordinate with local authorities and communities to facilitate smooth transport operations and adherence to regulations.
