Job Description

Personnel Source has an immediate opening for a fulltime Retread Technician. This position will have a specific role to begin to learn the retreading process to build the highest quality retreaded tire with the opportunity to learn different tasks and grow within the company.

Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Carry rolls of rubber with hand truck
- Paint and stack tires
- Clean up and buff off excess rubber on finished tires
- Other duties as assigned by lead/manager
- Load/unload tires in chamber
- Use basic hand tools tire tools alignment machines brake lathe air wrench and other essential tools
Job Requirements:
- Ability to work in a fast paced continually changing environment
- Ability to follow written/computerized instructions
- Ability to read and understand pressure and temperature charts
- Ability to visually inspect finished products for quality assurance
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Physical Demands:
- Ability to lift push pull carry and upright a tire to a maximum of 150 pounds with mechanical assistance
- Ability to lift push pull and carry rolls of tread rubber to a maximum of120 poundswith mechanical assistance
- Constant standing; frequent lifting and turning
- Frequent use of fingers and hands to grasp items
- Frequent reaching above shoulders
- Work environment is largely indoors
Pay Rate:
$20.00/hr.
Shift Schedule:
Monday Friday (e/o Saturday)
4:00am 1:00pm
