Temporary Custodian

Personnel Source is seeking temporary custodians to join a team at the University or Oregon.

MonFri 6am2:30pm $16.60/hr.

Requirements of the Custodian:

• No previous work experience is required. However a willingness to work hard and learn is a must.
• Work effectively in a team environment and model respectful workplace behavior.
• Ability to take initiative actively seek out tasks that need to be accomplished.
• Be able to provide excellent customer service.

Responsibilities of the Custodian:

• Refill and stock supplies (e.g. paper towels toilet paper hand soap) restock selfhelp stations with spray bottles and/or cloths.
• Sweep dust and sanitize touchpoints in stairwells building entries and circulation spaces
• Clean and disinfect furniture microwaves and other touch points in public spaces and lounges.
• Clean toilets showers and sinks in public areas and inside conference guest rooms.
• Vacuum and mop floors.
• Empty garbage and recycling.
• Launder linens and towels.
• Commercial carpet and window cleaning.
• Labor work including but not limited to moving furniture appliances bed lofting and delofting for events.
• Accomplish other miscellaneous tasks as assigned by lead custodial worker or facilities services coordinator.
