Position Summary:
Performs sonography procedures for the diagnosis of medical conditions. Assists radiologist with biopsy and drainage procedures. procedures will be performed according to departmental protocols policies and procedures and established standards of practice. performs high level disinfection of probes following departmental protocols. Exercises professional judgment in performance of services and maintains a demeanor reflective of medical ethics. Assesses and monitors patientsand provides appropriate patient care.

Minimum education
Graduation from an accredited ultrasound/radiologic sciences program or certificate of completion from a Diagnostic medical Ultrasound Course and ARDMS registered in a least one modality or registry eligible (registry must be completed with 9 months of hire)
OR
ARRT registry verified.
