The Position
Friedman Vartolo LLP is seeking an experienced Foreclosure & Loss Mitigation Attorney who is capable of handling appearance and related loss mitigation activities to join our growing team. Were looking for bright enthusiastic individuals who will bring a strong work ethic and eagerness to grow alongside the firm.
Responsibilities
- Appear in Supreme Surrogates and Federal Court to argue motions necessary for the successful completion of foreclosure eviction bankruptcy and other related default services matters.
- Communicate with clients and investors to effectuate loss mitigation resolutions where applicable.
- Work with and oversee support staff.
- Draft assigned documents which include but are not limited to settlement and release agreements payoff and reinstatement letters status letters and other related loss mitigation correspondence.
Qualifications
- 4 years of experience handling foreclosure matters in Connecticut
- Applicants must be admitted in Connecticut
- Superior organizational skills
- Ability to meet strict deadlines
- Leadership qualities ability to manage support staff
- Eager to learn
- Independent worker
Compensation/Benefits
