Job Description
Science Teacher Kingston Secondary School
An Outstanding secondary school in Kingston is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join their Science department. This is a fulltime permanent position teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4 with the possibility of Key Stage 5 teaching for a suitably experienced candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and effective Science lessons across Biology Chemistry and Physics.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters scientific inquiry.
- Assess student understanding and provide constructive feedback.
- Contribute to the development of the Science curriculum.
- Collaborate with colleagues within the Science department.
- To teach at an Outstanding School.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- A degree in a Science subject (Biology Chemistry Physics or a related field).
- Proven experience teaching Science at the secondary level.
- Strong subject knowledge across all three sciences (Biology Chemistry Physics) at Key Stage 3 and 4.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- The desire to work as a Science Teacher.
