Responsibilities
- Plan prepare and deliver engaging Drama Teacher lessons covering performance script analysis and theatre history across Key Stages 3 to 5.
- Prepare students effectively for GCSE and ALevel Drama examinations and practical performances.
- Cultivate a supportive and collaborative environment where students can explore their dramatic talents and develop their performance skills.
- Contribute to the organisation of extracurricular drama clubs school productions and theatre trips.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Drama or Performing Arts.
- Demonstrated experience teaching Drama at the secondary level (Key Stages 3 & 4 with ALevel experience being advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of dramatic literature performance techniques theatre history and contemporary theatre practices.
- Excellent communication interpersonal and directorial skills capable of inspiring students and leading successful theatrical productions.
