Job Description
An enthusiastic and dedicated Science Teacher is required to join an Outstanding Mixed school in Enfield. The successful candidate will inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4 with a broad and engaging science curriculum fostering their curiosity and understanding of the natural world.
Responsibilities
- Plan prepare and deliver engaging Science Teacher lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 covering Biology Chemistry and Physics.
- Prepare students effectively for GCSE Science examinations ensuring a strong foundational understanding of scientific principles.
- Foster a stimulating and inquirybased learning environment that encourages scientific exploration and critical thinking.
- Assess and monitor student progress in Science providing clear and constructive feedback to support their learning journey.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Science or one of the core science disciplines.
- Demonstrated experience teaching Science at Key Stages 3 and 4.
- A strong and comprehensive knowledge of the secondary science curriculum and effective teaching methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills capable of explaining scientific concepts clearly and engagingly to students of varying abilities.
