Your Role
As an Art Teacher at our grammar school you will:

• Teach engaging and challenging Art lessons across Key Stages 3 4 and 5 with a focus on A Level Art and Design

• Develop students creative abilities and technical skills preparing them for further education and careers in the arts

• Inspire students to think critically experiment with different media and express their ideas through art

• Collaborate with a dedicated and experienced department to plan and deliver a dynamic and academically rigorous curriculum

• Provide clear assessment and feedback supporting students in their progress towards achieving their potential at A Level

• Encourage student participation in extracurricular activities such as art clubs exhibitions and other creative school events

• Cultivate a stimulating and supportive classroom environment where students feel challenged and inspired

What Were Looking For
We are looking for an experienced Art Teacher who:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and has proven experience teaching Art at secondary level including A Level

• Has a degree in Art Fine Art or Art & Design with a strong portfolio and a thorough understanding of advanced visual arts practice

• Is passionate about teaching the arts at a high academic level and able to engage students in deep meaningful learning

• Demonstrates excellent communication organisational and classroom management skills

• Has a strong understanding of the A Level Art curriculum and is experienced in preparing students for university and creative careers

• Is eager to contribute to a thriving school community and collaborate with colleagues to ensure student success
