At Open Payments were not just building APIs were transforming how financial infrastructure works in the Open Banking era. As our Product Manager youll help shape and grow our product by working closely with developers partners and customers to build solutions that drive real business value.

About Open Payments
Open Payments is a VCfunded FinTech startup founded in 2017. We are on a mission to disrupt the financial industry and change how consumers and businesses use and access financial services with the aim to shape the Open Banking era. We provide the groundbreaking market infrastructure required for successful Open Banking based on PSD2. Open Payments uses an open and secure API to access the diversified bank APIs throughout the EU.

What will you do
As Product Manager youll drive product development closely with our technical team while ensuring the solutions we build create commercial value.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading your product area from idea through launch and continuous refinement
  • Working handson with tech teams and external partners to develop scalable solutions
  • Identifying ways to improve our API offering based on customer and market input
  • Managing priorities and maintaining focus through structured planning
  • Turning customer needs into actionable product decisions and longterm collaborations

Who are you
Youre curious handson and passionate about building products that solve problems. You enjoy digging into both the technical details and the commercial potential and you believe that great products are built through close collaboration with customers.

We think youll thrive in this role if you have:

  • 35 years of experience in a similar role ideally within a SaaS company
  • A relevant academic degree
  • A solid understanding of APIs integrations and modern product development
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical topics clearly to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders
  • A commercial mindset you think in terms of customer value and business impact
  • A drive to take ownership grow with the company and shape both your role and the product

Its a bonus if you have:

  • Experience with project management
  • Skills in documenting workflows for example using sequence diagrams
  • Familiarity with banking or other regulated industries
