Job Overview
We re hiring a Data Analyst & Copywriter to join our product research team. This role blends structured data evaluation with crisp concise written communication. Youll be responsible for running software workflows collecting feature and pricing data and writing shortform product analyses that help businesses make informed decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate software products by logging in completing workflows and analyzing usability/performance
- Collect and structure data on software features pricing and functionality
- Write shortform mini analyses highlighting product strengths and differentiators
- Annotate and upload data into company s internal systems
- Take screenshots gather vendor data and communicate with vendors where needed
- Collaborate closely with Data Lead and Cofounder on research strategy
Requirements
- 5 6 years of experience in a data or contentheavy role (e.g. business analyst product reviewer tech copywriter)
- Strong written and verbal English skills (musthave)
- Analytical thinker with great attention to detail
- Familiarity with business software (e.g. CRMs HR tools productivity platforms)
- Comfortable working in a startup environment: fastmoving iterative and selfdirected
- Ideally based in South Africa for timezone and language alignment
- No formal education requirements your writing and analytical skills speak for themselves
