Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):
Lead the budgeting forecasting and financial planning processes.
Analyze financial performance and prepare management reports with actionable insights.
Support business units with profitability analysis and scenario modeling.
Accounting & Reporting:
Oversee daytoday accounting operations including general ledger accounts payable/receivable payroll and fixed assets.
Ensure timely and accurate monthly quarterly and annual financial close.
Prepare financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards (e.g. IFRS GAAP).
Compliance & Controls:
Ensure compliance with tax laws statutory reporting requirements and audit regulations.
Maintain internal controls and ensure financial integrity and risk mitigation.
Coordinate with external auditors tax advisors and regulators.
Business Partnering:
Act as a strategic partner to the CTO Product and Operations teams.
Provide financial inputs on tech investments cost optimization vendor negotiations and pricing strategies.
Evaluate ROI on new products R&D and capital expenditures.
Systems & Automation:
Collaborate with the tech team to implement or upgrade ERP/accounting systems.
Drive automation of finance processes and improve data visibility through dashboards and analytics.
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor s or Master s degree in Finance Accounting or related field (MBA or CA/CPA preferred).
3 years of progressive experience in finance/accounting roles preferably in a technology or startup environment.
Strong understanding of SaaS/Tech business models (ARR CAC LTV burn rate etc. is a plus.
Handson experience with financial tools (e.g. TALLY QuickBooks Zoho Books).
Proficiency in Excel and financial modeling; familiarity with BI tools is a plus.
