Job Description

Mailroom and Print Services Clerk

Our client in the printing industry is seeking an energetic and adaptable professional to support a dynamic production environment. This contract position offers the opportunity to contribute to vital onsite services spanning print mail scan and facilities support. The role is based in a professional setting with business casual dress and offers flexible daytime hours between 8:00am and 5:00pm Monday to Friday.

12month contract.
Fulltime position: 37.50 hours per week.
Monday to Friday between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm (varied start times).

Responsibilities:

Prepare sort and distribute mail packages and faxes using various mail services.
Perform quality checks on outgoing mail and record accountable mail information.
Arrange alternate courier or shipping services as required.
Perform mail merge labeling and electronic mail distribution.
Conduct fulfillment tasks such as assembly packaging and kitting.
Operate high volume mail and insertion equipment.
Perform basic colour printing using production printers.
Understand production print processes and perform finishing and bindery tasks.
Monitor and replenish inventory and supplies.
Recommend workflow and costsaving improvements.
Follow mailroom and security protocols.
Support meeting and training room setups according to client requests.
Maintain kitchens and coffee stations including ordering supplies as required.
Assist with catering services for meetings.
Respond to employee service requests and manage followups through the proper systems.
Deliver and pick up mail on scheduled runs.
Perform logging transmission and timely distribution of faxes.

What you will need to succeed:

High School diploma or equivalent.
6 months to 1 year of experience in a professional work environment.
Experience in a clientfacing role.
Good communication and customer service skills both written and verbal.
Strong command of English written and verbal.
Ability to read write and follow English instructions.
Selfmotivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks independently.
Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office Outlook and Teams.
Able to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
Able to be on your feet up to 80 of the time.
Ability and willingness to learn new systems and processes.
