Job Description

THE POSITION:

The Manager HEOR will lead multidisciplinary research teams and provide HEOR expertise and strategic leadership at all stages of projects from planning to communication.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Projectrelated

  • Execute projects that exceed client expectations while remaining on time and on budget
  • Determine and manage project scope timelines budget for several competing projects
  • Develop and review materials for accuracy consistency quality and conformity to EVERSANA standards
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope identify potential issues and devise contingency plans
  • Lead and support a wide range or projects (e.g. targeted or systematic literature reviews health economic modeling evidence synthesis reimbursement submissions evidence generation plans manuscripts etc.

Methodologicalrelated

  • Provide leadership to ensure projects are underpinned by strong and defendable HEOR concepts and methods
  • Ensure projects adhere to high standards of pharmacoeconomic analysis and health technology assessment

Clientrelated

  • Build relationships with clients that result in ongoing business opportunities
  • Develop and maintain strong business relationships with clients
  • Identify and communicate opportunities for future collaborations

Companyrelated

  • Develop proposals budgets and timelines
  • Promote a positive and energetic work environment through healthy and effective communication a strong work ethic and professional conduct
  • Identify and develop best practices and tools for project and management
  • Contribute to decisions regarding company direction and growth staffing of projects and project workload
  • Demonstrate a commitment to diversity equity and inclusion through continuous development modeling inclusive behaviors and proactively managing bias.
  • All other duties as assigned.

PEOPLE LEADER

People leaders must possess both the skills to effectively accomplish these tasks and the emotional intelligence to do so in alignment with our cultural values.  In addition to the critical management and leadership tasks listed above this role also includes the following unique responsibilities:

  • Develop and communicate company policies and standard operating procedures
  • Facilitate and participate in teambased and independent training
  • Provide mentorship guidance to junior staff

EXPECTATIONS OF THE JOB:

  • Travel: Some travel may be required for meeting with clients stakeholders or offsite personnel/management
  • Hours: Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week. Overtime and/or weekend/evening hours may be required to meet project deadlines

Qualifications :

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

The requirements listed below are representative of the experience education knowledge skill and/or abilities required.

 

  • Education: MSc in a Life Science discipline Epidemiology Health Economics or related field
  • Experience and/or Training:
    • A minimum of three 3 years direct work experience in health economics health technology assessment or a related field
    • Strong basis in costeffectiveness model design analysis and interpretation.
    • Experience with HTA submissions
    • Deep understanding of Microsoft Word Excel EndNote and PowerPoint (familiarity with R or DistillerSR an asset)
    • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities demands and timelines in a fastpaced environment
    • Proven ability to manage personal and project team members time across competing projects
    • Proven ability to identify and respond to different communication and work styles of team members and other stakeholders
    • Demonstrated leadership teambuilding and teammotivating skills
    • Demonstrated planning and decisionmaking skills
    • Strong strategic problem solving and analytical abilities
    • Proven relationshipbuilding capabilities; developing and maintaining strong client relationships effectively interacting with peers
    • Strong critical thinking analytical problemsolving and multitasking capabilities
    • Ability to effectively interact and communicate with peers senior management and clients
    • Strong written oral interpersonal and presentation communication skills
    • Ability to work independently and in a teamoriented collaborative environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Technology/Equipment:
    • Experience in model programming in VBA preferred 

PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

The physical and mental requirements along with the work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an individual encounters while performing the essential functions of this position.

Office: While performing the essential functions of this job the employee is frequently required to reach grasp stand and/or sit for long periods of time (up to 90 of the shift) walk talk and hear; occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderately quiet with frequent interruptions and multiple demands.

EVERSANA is committed to providing competitive salaries and benefits for all employees. The anticipated base salary range for this position is $100000 to $110000 and is not applicable to locations outside of the Canada.  The base salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position.  Compensation will be determined based on relevant experience other jobrelated qualifications/skills and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living).  EVERSANA reserves the right to modify this base salary range at any time.
