Mandatory Skills:
- Strong experience in testing Javabased microservices
- Experience with Kafka or any other publishsubscribe messaging tools
- Frontend testing experience using or similar frameworks such as Angular or
- Automation Testing experience using Java
- Minimum 4 years of experience in automation testing
Good to Have Skills:
- Handson experience with Playwright for browser automation
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
Role Overview / Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) with a solid background in both backend and frontend testing. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in testing Java microservices working with Kafka (or other messaging systems) and automation frameworks. A proactive mindset strong coding skills in Java and an ability to test modern web applications built using React or similar frameworks are critical to this role.
Key Responsibilities / Job Responsibilities:
- Design develop and execute automated test scripts for Javabased microservices
- Perform endtoend testing of frontend components using React Angular or Vue
- Validate message flows and service integrations using Kafka or similar tools
- Build and maintain robust automation frameworks using Java and preferably Playwright
- Work closely with developers and DevOps teams to ensure CI/CD test automation integration
- Identify document and track bugs while ensuring comprehensive test coverage
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving test strategies and best practices
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams in an Agile environment
