Software Engineer Systems Design- Level 3 AESWE3

AEITS Inc. is looking to grow its team! We are seeking a Software Engineer Systems Design Level 3 (SE3 to support the development and enhancement of complex software systems.

In this position you will support our customer in the Annapolis Junction MD area. This role involves working with cuttingedge technologies on projects ranging from realtime systems and highvolume data processing to novel algorithm development and business information systems.

Mission: As a Software Engineer on this government program youll play a critical role in designing building testing and maintaining software solutions that directly support missioncritical operations.

Location: Annapolis Junction MD

All work is onsite. This is not a hybrid or remote position.

Requirements:

• U.S. Citizenship
• TS/SCI with Polygraph
• Bachelors degree in computer science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university and Ten 10 years of experience as a Software Engineer on programs of similar scope type and complexity
• Analyze user requirements concept of operations documents and system architectures to develop detailed system requirement specifications
• Lead system design and development activities ensuring alignment with user needs and operational goals
• Advise users on alternative solutions conduct feasibility studies and guide requirement formulation
• Provide technical leadership in integrating design requirements and emerging technologies
• Develop system architecture and design documentation system engineering management plans and integration/test plans
• Incorporate new systems and designs into ongoing operations while maintaining system integrity
• Serve as the primary point of contact for system engineeringrelated issues with government and program stakeholders
• Ensure the technical quality and integrity of deliverables within your area of responsibility
• Communicate effectively with crossfunctional teams government clients and senior leadership

• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills in a technical environment
• Experience supporting userfocused engineering solutions and systems integration
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with technical teams end users and senior stakeholders
• Strong understanding of systems lifecycle processes documentation development and technical leadership
• Ability to adapt evolving system requirements into operational capabilities

Education and Required Qualification

• Bachelors degree in computer science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university and Ten 10 years of experience as a Software Engineer on programs of similar scope type and complexity
  • Four 4 additional years of software engineering experience may be substituted for a degree

Travel

• Less than 10 of travel may occur.
