Job Description
The candidate for this Senior Scientist position will be working in the Regulated Bioanalysis group in the Quantitative Translational and ADME Sciences (QTAS) department. The primary responsibility will be for developing methods for small and large molecule analysis as well as for endogenous and exogenous biomarkers. The individual will be expected to have extensive experience in developing and validating LCMS based methods in a regulated environment. In addition the individual will support regulated nonclinical and clinical studies through bioanalytical sample analysis data review and report writing. The individual will also have opportunities to contribute to broader areas within QTAS as their experience and expertise warrants.
Responsibilities:
- Developing and validating bioanalytical methods for large and small molecules on LCMS platforms
- Maintain awareness of evolving trends in separations and mass spectrometry
- Use and manage biohazardous matrices (e.g. plasma serum urine blood tissue etc.
- Author method documents for regulated analysis and scientific papers for publication
- Maintain and troubleshoot complex LC systems and ultrasensitive mass spectrometers
- Expertise in the cuttingedge assay technologies and excellent assay troubleshooting skills
Qualifications :
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent education and typically 10 years of experience Masters Degree or equivalent education and typically 8 years of experience or PhD with typically 03 years of industry experience.
- Experience with Hamilton Starlet automated liquid handling instruments is a plus.
- Experience with operating Shimadzu Liquid Chromatography instruments or equivalents.
- Experience with operating AB Sciex triple quadrupole mass spectrometers or equivalents (ex:.
- Experience with electronic laboratory notebook software WATSON Laboratory Information Management Software (LIMS) and AB Sciex Analyst/Sciex OS Software.
- Familiarity with regulatory guidelines for bioanalysis and experience working in a regulated environment (ALCOA principles).
- Strong interpersonal skills the ability to work independently with minimal supervision in managing multiple projects and priorities and work well within a team and a desire to learn specific techniques for bioanalysis.

The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.
