Job Description

Your responsibilities

Are you an organised and proactive graduate with an interest in cuttingedge science and international collaboration Do you enjoy coordinating technical activities managing data with precision and supporting largescale research initiatives Join CERN and contribute to the development of highfield magnet technologies and global scientific partnerships.

As a Junior Programme Support Officer you will join a dynamic team and play a key role in the High Field Magnet (HFM) Programme. This initiative supports the development of NbSn accelerator dipoles for the FCChh and explores hightemperature superconducting magnets for future accelerator applications.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining and updating test planning documents including key deliverables and milestones.
  • Tracking budgets and associated expenses.
  • Managing technical platforms such as EDMS (Engineering Data Management Service) Indico sites and the HFM website.
  • Supporting international collaboration agreements related to the programme including:
    • Updating and maintaining the collaboration website;
    • Monitoring contracts milestones budgets and commitments;
    • Producing statistical reports and analytical summaries.

 

Your profile

 

Skills

  • Analytical skills for data interpretation.
  • Basic project planning and budgeting knowledge.
  • Familiarity with scheduling and tracking tools.
  • Accurate documentation and progress reporting.
  • Teamwork in a multidisciplinary environment.
  • Spoken and written English or French with a commitment to learn the other language.

Eligibility criteria:


Additional Information :

Job closing date: 15.05.2025 at 23:59 CEST.

Contract duration: 24 months with a possible extension up to 36 months maximum.

Working hours: 40 hours per week
