Job Description
We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Derby to assist with the appointment of a Falls Support Worker on a 3month contract likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
Rate of Pay: 13.41 16.91 per Hour
Responsibilities:
- Deliver training and guidance to care home staff on fall management and prevention.
- Educate and train staff in the safe use of specialist lifting equipment.
- Support care homes in reducing falls and enhancing overall health and wellbeing outcomes.
- Provide evidencebased advice and specialist support on fall prevention strategies.
- Respond to fall incidents and assist with safe lifting of uninjured fallers using appropriate equipment.
Essential Criteria:
- Knowledge of health and wellbeing risks within care home environments.
- Competency in supporting and advising on fall prevention practices.
- Ability to use specialist lifting equipment safely.
- Strong communication and partnership working skills.
- Flexible availability including evenings and weekends where necessary.
- Valid UK driving license and access to a roadworthy insured vehicle during working hours.

- You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
- You should have right to work in U.K
- This role requires an Enhanced DBS
