ChristianaCare Primary Care at Concord Health Center is currently seeking a motivated team player who is selfdriven in their career as a Medical Assistant.
Primary Care at Concord Health Center is a growing family practice located at 161 Wilmington West Chester Pike in Chadds Ford Pennsylvania. Primary Care at Concord is home to a dynamic team of 3 physicians 3 physician assistants 2 registered nurses 5 medical assistants and one office assistant. You will be one of a team of five medical assistants in this role.

Work Schedule:
Monday from 7am to 7pm
Tuesday through Thursday from 7am to 6pm
Friday from 7am to 4:30pm
No weekends or holidays
Duties / Responsibilities:
As a medical assistant you will beinvolved with greeting and supporting patients both virtually and onsite within the practice preparing them for virtual visits performing point of care testing injections medication administration and EKGs assisting clinicians with examinations and procedures preparing exam/treatment rooms with necessary supplies and equipment completing patientspecific paperwork ensuring EMR is uptodate handling patient call backs sterilizing medical equipment handling prior authorizations referrals and medical refills scheduling tests procedures and surgeries performing quality control on POCT equipment providing documentation assistance performing clerical duties troubleshooting patient issues with video visits and supporting patients in joining ChristianaCares Patient Portal.

Education Requirements:
High School Graduate or GED required.
A graduate of a recognized Medical Assistant Program or hold current Medical Assistant Certification by a national organization accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) or the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).
2 years experience as a Medical Assistant is preferred
