Job Description
VISTA Technology Services Inc. (VISTA) isseeking a FinancialAnalyst II to support our DISA Cyber customer in Ft. Meade MD. This is a remote position.
Responsibilities:
- Support planning and programming cost estimating financial management andexecution
- Assist with POM data collection and preparing funding packages
- Conduct financial analysis
- Preparedraft Milestone Status Reports financial status reports White Papers and presentations for colleagues and enduser representatives
- Trackand monitor tasks and action items
- Collect inputto update and reviews financialdocumentation including Financial Management Reviews (FMRs)
- Analyzetrends or deviations from standards or forecast figures and identifiescauses and risks
- Preparedraft Milestone Status Reports financial status reports White Papers and presentations for colleagues and end user representatives
- Develop some nonstandard report or statements to capture existing accounting information
- Prepare presentation templates and tailor for customer needs
- Work independently and with finance and budget team and effectively communicates with cross functional teams
- Detailoriented and able to assess issues and develop resolutions to meet project/program goals and objectives.
- Effectively manage multiple tasks
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degreein relevant discipline (e.g. Business Accounting Finance Economics Statistics etc. AND5 years ofDoD/federal financial and/or budget experienceOR High School Diploma AND7years ofDoD/federal financial and/or budget experience
- Proficient using MS Office (Word Excel PowerPoint)
- Active DoD Secret Clearance
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience using DAI and CORAS
- Experience w/PowerBI
Salary at VISTA is determined by various factors including but not limited to location the individuals particular combination of education knowledge skills competencies and experience as well as contractspecific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $55000.00 to $70000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of VISTAs total compensation package for employees.
