As a Senior Principal Modeling Simulation & Analysis Engineer you will participate in multidisciplinary work across integrated product teams consisting of Guidance Navigation & Control (GNC) Signal Processing and missileandsensorlevel Performance Simulations. Our Performance Simulation teams provide develop and maintain high fidelity performance simulations evaluate system performance support new business initiatives and develop & execute technology roadmaps.
This is an Onsite role in Tucson Arizona
What You Will Do:
You will create high fidelity simulations and models for missile design performance assessment and flight test support
You will be responsible for the development and implementation of modeling solutions conduct trade studies and evaluation of system and subsystem performance
You will work in a team environment receiving inputs from the team supervisors and providing guidance and/or direction to other team members
You will collaborate with Guidance Navigation & Control (GNC) Signal Processing and other department personnel to perform simulation activities
You will work on diverse projects determine and develop approaches and solutions and provide development guidance throughout the product lifecycle from initial concept to fielded product
You will provide technical expertise for the simulation products of a specific program and assist senior Modeling Engineers in the preparation of detailed plans and may interact with government counterparts as an authority on simulation products
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a Bachelors degree in Engineering Science Physics Mathematics or a related STEM degree and ten 10 years or more of engineering experience
Experience programming in C C or other high order language and experience using MATLAB or Python for evaluation of data sets
Experience developing or simulating physical systems
Experience in modeling simulation statistics or analysis for existing or proposed engineering solutions
Experience managing others and interacting with other engineering disciplines
Active and transferable U.S. government issued Top Secret security clearance is required prior to start date.U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Qualifications We Prefer:
Advanced Degree in Engineering Science Mathematics or related STEM degree
Leadership experience managing others using applied system engineering principals experience working on a team and by yourself interfacing with multiple engineering disciplines and developing and presenting technical briefings
Experience developing signal processing / GNC algorithms or models for missile applications
Experience with Control Hardware Design and Test hardware/software integration modeling physics and physical systems as related to flight dynamics
Experience using UNIX/Linux based workstations and using Software Configuration Management tools
Course work or experience in some of the following fields: radar signal & image processing radar and/or EO/IR environment models digital communications probability and statistics linear algebraestimation theory optimal control system architecture inertial navigation guidance theory
Current Department of Defense security clearance

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees as they are essential to the development of our products.
This position requires a security clearance. DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSA) an agency of the Department of Defense handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. More information about Security Clearances can be found on the US Department of State government website here: salary range for this role is 124000 USD 250000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
