Location:Naperville IL
Schedule:The schedule for this position will change week to week.
Pay:$19.00/hour
Securitas plays an essential role for our clients and in society. A Flex Security Officer is responsible for maintaining the safety and security of assigned properties people and assets. The officer will work at various client sites on a flexible ondemand basis adjusting to the needs of the security team and the clients they serve. The role requires individuals to respond to various security situations provide physical patrols monitor surveillance systems and enforce sitespecific security policies.
Position Requirements:
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- 18 years of age or older
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Standard computer/technology skills needed
- High level customer service skills needed
- Must be adaptable to work a variety of sites
- Must have strong deescalation skills
- Must be open to working any shift
- Must have own vehicle and valid Drivers License
Note: All candidates must be able to pass a drug test and background check.
Flex Security Officer Responsibilities:
- Provide security services at various assigned locations on an asneeded basis
- Observe and report suspicious activity or potential threats
- Enforce sitespecific policies and procedures
- Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas including buildings grounds and parking lots
- Respond promptly to alarms incidents and emergencies
- Complete detailed and accurate incident and shift reports
- Monitor access points and verify credentials of visitors employees and contractors
- Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency personnel if necessary
- Maintain professional demeanor and appearance at all times
- Adapt quickly to changing assignments schedules and sitespecific protocols
