Operations Manager/Coordinator
Location: Cape Town
Salary:

Job Purpose
The Operations Manager is responsible for the daily of housekeeping and maintenance operations ensuring seamless coordination between housekeepers maintenance staff and the Guest Experience team. This role is key to ensuring properties are consistently guestready through efficient scheduling realtime problemsolving and proactive asset and key management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Property Management Guest Experience Housekeeping and Linen teams to ensure smooth daily operations
  • Manage and adjust the daily housekeeping schedule in real time
  • Troubleshoot issues and provide ontheground support to Housekeepers
  • Coordinate with the Guest Experience team to meet lastminute guest needs and ensure properties are guestready
  • Track and schedule maintenance tasks and follow through on their completion
  • Manage key allocation and retrieval for staff guests and contractors
  • Oversee the distribution and return of property assets and equipment
  • Coordinate transport logistics (e.g. Uber) for Housekeepers to ensure timely arrival at properties

  • Calm confident and a teamoriented problem solver
  • Comfortable multitasking and performing under pressure
  • Strong communicator with quick and clear verbal and written communication skills
  • Proactive autonomous and highly organised
  • Techsavvy and adaptable to changing systems and tools
  • Flexible with working hours including weekends on a rotational basis
  • Previous experience in fastpaced highautonomy operational roles
