Job Description
Reporting to: Legal Director
Salary: $5000$6000 per month (Negotiable based on experience)
Location: Phnom Penh
Responsibilities
- Responsible for legal matters related to the companys primary land development projects (e.g. urban renewal government land acquisition infrastructure development) ensuring full legal compliance.
- Draft review and revise various legal documents including land acquisition agreements government cooperation agreements development joint venture contracts and investment agreements.
- Coordinate with external law firms to handle legal due diligence litigation arbitration and other legal matters.
- Assist in project negotiations provide legal support and risk control advice to safeguard company interests.
- Monitor relevant national laws and regulations (especially in project locations) concerning real estate land and investment and provide timely compliance solutions.
- Manage contract archiving and the contract lifecycle process to ensure lawful and compliant .
- Assist in building and improving the companys legal compliance system and promote the institutionalization and standardization of legal management.
- Participate in internal legal training to enhance legal awareness across relevant departments.
- Handle other legal support tasks assigned by company leadership.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelors degree or above in Law or a related field; possession of a legal practice certificate is preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of legal experience in large real estate developers or international enterprises; experience with primary land development or large infrastructure projects is a plus.
- Familiar with legal regulations related to land use rights transfer PPP cooperation and government land bidding procedures.
- Strong skills in contract drafting negotiation and legal risk assessment.
- Proficient in English; capable of handling legal documents and international projects in English.
- Excellent logical thinking communication and teamwork skills.
- Detailoriented highly responsible and able to work under high pressure.
