Job Description
Requirements:
- 12 years of experience with Ruby on Rails.
- BS/MS in Computer Science or a related field.
- Solid understanding of Ruby language and OOP principles.
- Experience with RSpec or similar testing frameworks.
- Familiarity with frontend technologies: JavaScript HTML CSS and jQuery.
- Experience in building interactive userfocused web applications.
- Good knowledge of relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL MySQL).
- Working knowledge of NoSQL databases (e.g. MongoDB).
- Understanding of MVC ORM RESTful APIs and design patterns.
- Experience with Git or other version control systems.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools CI/CD pipelines and containerization.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS GCP etc..
- Experience with code linters performance monitoring and debugging tools.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
Responsibilities:
- Design build and maintain efficient reusable and reliable Ruby code.
- Develop scalable and secure features using Ruby on Rails.
- Write clean maintainable and testable code.
- Integrate frontend elements with serverside logic.
- Optimize application performance and address bugs and bottlenecks.
- Work with databases and data storage solutions (SQL and NoSQL).
- Follow best practices for version control testing and deployment.
- Collaborate in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
