We are seeking a talented individual to join our Affinity team at Marsh as an Insurance Sales Consultant. This role will be based in Urbandale IA. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
This is an amazing opportunity to work with a national named account and hundreds of franchise owners. In this role you can expect to add value as a key contributor by building strong customer relationships on an national basis with a global leader in the P&C brokerage industry. You will have a unique opportunity to drive customer growth through a consultive sales approach supported by a strong base and a dynamic commission plan.
Insurance Sales Consultant
We will count on you to:
Perform critical client functions including evaluating risks specific to affinity and franchise clients; developing customized solutions; articulating the impact of options; leveraging prepared analytics; and making informed recommendations across the supported product line.
Build and maintain relationships with clients in the affinity and franchise space to provide bestinclass service driving growth and retention.
Pursue new business leads through existing and new relationships.
Work closely with external and internal business partners to gather customer feedback and at times collaborate in creating effective resolutions tailored to the needs of our clients.
Stay informed about changing market conditions affecting affinity and franchise sectors and ensure compliance with all professional and transparency standards to better serve clients.
Manage and record all activities in the workflow system to ensure timely followup by clients carriers and the client team facilitating the delivery of final policies.
What you need to have:
Commercial or Small Business insruance sales.
Property & Casualty license
Proven sales ability in a phonebased environment.
What makes you stand out:
Expereince in handling national accounts
Knowledge or sales experience focused in affinity insurance or working with franchise clients.
Knowledge of captive Insurance is a stand out.
Proven history of meeting and/or exceeding sales goals and targets.
